Die vielversprechendsten Kreuzungsnummern werden genauestens auf ihre Anbaueignung und Vermarktungsfähigkeit geprüft um ihr zukünftiges Potenzial abschätzen zu können. Die nötigen Sortentests werden in betriebseigenen Testfeldern aber auch unter kommerziellen Bedingungen bei Partnerbetrieben durchgeführt.
