Experience coupled with technology that is constantly developed further – this is the secret to Fruitplant’s success. Our main activity is the production of apple, pear and cherry trees. Fruitplant nurtures its relationships with its customers. Fruitplant is one of only a few companies that have successfully managed to supply trees with a constantly high level of quality over almost two decades now. The basis for this is a business philosophy which attaches the utmost importance to quality, which is greatly valued by the many loyal customers. The quality of the trees is one aspect, but the finest quality is nothing if the content is not right.
The guarantor of quality is Feno, a separate company which is owned by the Fruitplant members and focuses on the management of the propagation rights and the production of grafting material. The interaction between both companies has proven to be an innovative decision which has delivered many different benefits.

The production business is a separate unit, provided with a suitable management structure and all the necessary technical facilities. Fruitplant works constantly on advancing production techniques such as grafting onto the “pushing bud”, branching techniques and on treatment techniques. Great importance is attached to the training of staff. Practical trainees from many countries value the opportunity to expand their knowledge at Fruitplant for their future careers working in tree nurseries. The location close to the sea, the soil structure, and the great distance from orchards are crucial factors for obtaining naturally matured, healthy plant material.
